Privacy Policy

What is shared, what is kept.

Light After Time is a quiet house. We collect only what is necessary to read what you send and to keep the work safe. This page describes how that works in plain language. A full policy is being prepared and will replace this notice when ready.

1. What we collect

If you write to the house through the contact form, we receive the name or initials you provide, the address you choose to be reached at, and the message you write. If you submit a story, we receive what you choose to send. Nothing more is requested.

2. Why we collect it

To read you. To reply when a reply is right. To consider submitted stories for the Journal under the terms of the Story Submission Guidelines. Your information is never sold, traded, or used for marketing lists.

3. How it is held

Messages and submissions are stored privately, accessible only to the founder and to those expressly trusted with editorial care. The site is served over HTTPS. We use no third party advertising trackers.

4. Cookies and analytics

This site does not set advertising cookies. Basic technical cookies used by the hosting platform may be present. If lightweight, privacy respecting analytics are ever added, this notice will be updated to say so.

5. Your choices

You may ask, at any time, that your contact message or submitted story be removed from our records. Write to the house through the Contact page to make that request.

6. Changes

This Privacy Policy may be revised as the house grows. Material changes will be marked at the top of the page. The date of last update will be listed here when a full policy is published.

7. Contact

Questions about privacy may be addressed through the Contact page. You may also review related notices on the Legal & Policies page.

This is a working notice. A full Privacy Policy is being drafted and will appear here when ready.
